Thanks to everyone who came to the last 2 gigs in Coventry, Massey ferguson
and Escape, Both Friday nights got plenty of people out, which is great
because these venues need to be busy not just on Saturdays.... Thankyou..

We have nearly finished our 1st Song and will be available for download
shortly.. please keep an eye on the link to our download company. found

We have been told that our booking form has been

Playing up ( No send button) Dont know how this

Has happened but it should be ok now.

Nearly the End of the year, Next year more gigs have

been penciled in with Hazel, Festivals aswell.

Hi everyone, Another month gone, they seem to get

quicker, The Double CD of HAZEL and THESUBS

(FIGHTING BACK) is now out in the shops and

online. We havn't ordered our batch from the record comany yet so as soon as we do they will be available on line here. We will have our Shopping page done soon, available will be Fighting back, Live in Brighton, T shirts and more to come. Sorry for

The Subs are gigging with hazel at the end

of the month, We are all looking forward to it

as We havn't done anything with Hazel since

April, So we are in the studio polishing up on

hazel's songs.

A CD of the live gig at brighton with Hazel will be

released in August. This will also be available

where we play at the Slug and Lettuce for

2 Nights. Those that are going We are bringing

Billy On Sax with us, So few Hazel tunes a few

Irish tunes and of course all the usual stuff.

The Subs will be playing In Sutton again!

The subs have been looking for somewhere new

to play in Sutton or Mere Green.

We will be playing at the Royal Hotel in Sutton

TSUNAMI gig has been canceled, Sorry to all those

Anthony from the subs has organised a GIG in aid

of the TSUNAMI victims. The event we be held

at Coventry University on the 27th Feb.

Acts will include ourselves and Hazel plus many

other coventry hero's from the past, present and

future. Keep an eye on the sight for full bandlist

DEC 2004l Its nearly the end of what has been a very busy Year for the subs. Thanks to everyone

who as supported us over the past year.

It looks like the release date for the DVD is 24th

of January and hopefully shortly after our latest

album will be available.

For those Going to The astoria theatre on the

12th We know you'r in for a great day/night.

We will be at millenium point in birmingham

Playing from 8pm till 9pm hope to see you there.

AUGUST 2004
Its been a busy summer for the Subs, a successful tour with Hazel in June/July which included some great festivals. Glastonbury was muddy (what's new?) but well worth it. A packed Avalon stage saw Hazel and the Subs rock into Saturday night. On the sunday a live performance on radio avalon.

Next up was Henley and ending with a show at Portsmouth bandstand. A great afternoon and the weather held out for us. We will download a full gallery of the dates as soon as possible.

MAY 2004
The subs have been busy boys recently. The initial run of gigs with Hazel O'Connor were a huge success and more gigs have now been confirmed, including Glastonbury, Wasted and Henley Festivals (see gig guide for more info).

The DVD, due for release later in the year, is "in the bag", filmed and recorded at the Concorde2 in Brighton on 4th April.

March 2004
Grammy award winning record producer Roger Lomas was recently approached by life-long friend Hazel O'Connor to help find a band to collaborate with her on a series of LIVE one-off dates and various music festivals spread throughout 2004.

Roger immediately thought of the Subterraneans as his first choice and suggested that Hazel should go and see the band. Hazel was impressed with what she heard and saw, so invited the band to join forces with her on her forthcoming shows.

In addition, Roger's on-going collaboration with Secret Records in the production of Music DVD's has led to a specially selected date at The Concorde 2 in Brighton on Sunday April 4th for Hazel O'Connor and the Subterraneans in concert, which is being recorded and filmed LIVE for a DVD to be released later this year.

Hazel, who's top ten hits include "Eighth Day", "Will You" and "D-Days", also starred in the ground-breaking cult film "Breaking Glass".

Hazel's latest single "One More Try" is released on March 15th and also has a new album release...."A Singular Collection" - the best of Hazel O'Connor.
